Fundraising at Heddin’s Ford

As a pub in the heart of Hednesford there’s nothing more important than supporting charities that mean something to you.

Our first charity fundraiser for 2024 and what a worthy cause this is.

The Buddy Bag Foundation was created in response to the rising number of children who enter emergency care after fleeing violent situations at home.

Restoring a sense of safety and security into a child’s life during a traumatic time is one of the first steps to recovery. By providing these children with a few essential items, our mission is to help make the transition into emergency care a little easier.

Raising money for this charity means that a child, who have endured violent situations at home, can begin their journey towards safety and security.

Don’t worry if you don’t get chance to buy a raffle ticket, you can visit their website, About | The Buddy Bag Foundation to donate.

Congratulations to Dave on winning the hamper and thank you to all who bought tickets.

You all helped us raise £85 for the charity, thank you.

Poppy Appeal 2023

Since 1921 the Royal British Legion have been supporting serving and ex-serving personnel all year round, every day of the week.

The Poppy Appeal is an annual fundraising campaign that is held by the Royal British Legion to support the Armed Forces Community. The appeal is held every November and this year HF created and sold their own Poppies raising £115.00 to support this great cause.

30th September 2023 – Macmillan Coffee Morning

HF joined thousands of people across the UK to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support by participating in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. The money you raised at your Coffee Morning will have helped many living with cancer to live life as fully as they can.

Once again you did us proud by raising £265

13th May 2023 – Charity Night for Rett Syndrome

This beautiful little lady is Rosie.

It is for her and others like her diagnosed with Rett Syndrome that we held our massively successful Disney themed charity event.

You helped us raise a massive £1300 for Reverse Rett

So on behalf of the Heddin’s Ford, Reverse Rett Charity and my family I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Xxxxx
