Heddin’s Ford Beer Fest’s

What a great event it has been. We have seen many new faces, poured many beers and ciders and enjoyed every second.

A great selection of beers and ciders was split between the two bars served by our lovely staff and volunteers.

What was your favourite beer and cider? Look out for the results of your votes for the best beers and ciders

Friday night we had our disco karaoke with many of you having a go and singing your hearts out.

Even with the limited space, you still managed to get a bit of dancing in too.

Pork and stuffing Baps went down well having sold out early evening.

Saturday was a full day with Rugby on during the day and live music with Michael Dell entertaining us in the evening.

During the break in the entertainment the draw for the Buddy Bag foundation was drawn, the lucky winner Dave was pleased with his winnings. See our fundraising page for more information on our chosen charity, Fundraising at Heddin’s Ford.

Again our pork and stuffing baps were quick to sell out.

Sunday the cheese board was out with a good selection of cheeses which went down well, with just a few cracker crumbs left at the end of the day.

A special thank you to HP-Westwood-family-butchers for supplying the pork and to Michael Dell music but most of all we would like to thank you all for making this, our second ‘Beer Fest’, such a great event with a few giggles along the way.

Same time, same place 2025!

February 2023 saw our very first Beer & Cider festival here at HF!

With an additional bar, it kept the beer flowing through out our 4 day event. The HF logo on the bar finished the set up nicely, created and supplied by a local business, Tufts of Thunder, for the festival.

A good range of beers were on tap to cater for everyone’s taste with strengths ranging from 3.8 – 6%, stout to pale ales.

A great selection of ciders ranging in strength from 4 – 7.5%. A surprising variety of flavours were on offer as well as our regular Inch’s Cider

We asked our customers to vote with their tastebuds for the best tipple over the weekend. Based on your votes the overall winners in reverse order are…

Fownes Korvak’s Executioner

New Invention Marshmallow Mild

Black Iris Stab in the Dark

Breaking it down a little further we collated the results in the pale ale section and announce the winners of the Pale ale category in reverse order…

Wye Valley Hopfather

Bristol Beer Factory Powerhouse

Beowulf Chasewater

Thank you to you all for turning up and making the event the success it was. Watch this space for our 2024 beer festival.
